These places can take us back in time on an imaginary trip to a world that we can only experience through our mind and soul, a world whose spirit I aim to bring to the viewer through the images of this series. Some of these symbolic places are the canals of old Amsterdam, with their specific architecture and unmistakable lyrical atmosphere.

This series speaks about the journey that we can make to the past by experiencing places that carry with them a history and memories going back centuries. This photograph is part of the series A Tale of the Past. The photography is a multiple image panorama created out of 4 photographs captured independently and stitched together. The photograph depicts the Keizersgracht Canal in Amsterdam with its historical architecture and characteristic traditional Dutch buildings of the past centuries. The photograph in this print was shot in Amsterdam and was first published in July 2017. You will be one of the only 22 people in the world who own a print in this limited edition series.
